Jennifer Moore Ballentine is a hospice and palliative care advocate, educator, author, and analyst, with special expertise in advance care planning. She currently offers consulting services to healthcare organizations in program development, staff and leadership training, organizational and clinical ethics, and change design. She is Chair Elect of the San Diego Coalition for Compassionate Care and co-Chair of the Colorado Advance Directives Consortium. She has held leadership positions in several organizations, most recently as Vice President for Hospice Analytics and as Executive Director of Life Quality Institute. She is a member of the Ethics Advisory Council for the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and has served on numerous state and national ethics and public policy committees. She earned a Master’s degree in End-of-Life Studies from Regis University with graduate honors and Bachelor’s from Oberlin College.
