Lee Thai is a pharmacist with 17 years of experience in the areas of community retail pharmacy, clinical pharmacology, oncology, managed care and pharmacy law. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of the Pacific. Dr. Thai has served as a board member of a non-profit catastrophic loss assistance program, served as head of legislative affairs for the UOP chapter of the National Community Pharmacists Association, and founded UOP’s first mental health public outreach program. His work with the cannabis oil patient population consists of pediatric epilepsy, autism, and movement disorders. More recently, Dr. Thai has focused more clinical research in the areas of palliative care, oncology, and chronic pain. He is a dedicated advocate for the expansion of access to clinically managed cannabis products in patients suffering from debilitating conditions.
