Jennifer Ballentine has more than 17 years’ experience as an advocate and educator in hospice, palliative care, and advance care planning.
As President of The Iris Project, she offers consulting services to healthcare providers, policy makers, and associations across the country. She has held leadership positions at the Colorado Center for Hospice & Palliative Care (Dir of Professional Programs), Life Quality Institute (Executive Director), and Hospice Analytics (Vice President), as well as serving as the Chair and/or member of numerous community-based coalitions and committees, including the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization Professional Education Committee and Ethics Advisory Council, and the Colorado Advance Directives Consortium (CADC).
She is the incoming Chair of the San Diego Coalition for Compassionate Care. She has given hundreds of presentations to a wide range of audiences, from small community groups to state and national conferences.
